Blendon Woods is located in the northeast corner of Columbus off of I
270 & Rte 161. Take the Little Turtle Way exit. Below is a list of some
of the birds seen today at Blendon Woods.
 
       Thoreau Lake
         American Redstart-30
         Mallard-45
         American Widgeon-male
         N Shoveler-2 pair
         Redhead-2 pair
         Ring-neacked Duck-23
         Lesser Scaup-7
         Ruddy Duck-4 male, 3 female
         Mute Swan-1
         Hooded Merganser-pair
         Great Blue Heron-3
         Pied-billed Grebe-3
         American coot-2
         Pileated Woodpecker-seen from the East Blind-very active
