There is a GREAT EGRET in Bullskin Run, SE Clermont County, about 1/2 mile north of the Ohio River. To find this spot, drive east on SR 52 from New Richmond. From the entrance to Chilo Lock #34 Park/Crooked Run Nature Preserve, it is 2.5 miles to SR 133. Turn left (north) on SR 133 and drive 0.4 miles. Make a right on Felicity-Cedron-Rural Rd. This road follows Bullskin Run. Go 0.7 miles. The bird is on your right, just before a brick house with a green garage. It was fishing in the run, and associating with some Canada and white domestic geese. It was present as of 4pm Sun, March 20.
Caution: This is a narrow, winding road with no pull-offs. The locals don't appreciate strangers in their driveways or gawking at their houses, so use common sense if you chase this bird.
