Northern Shrike at Wood Co. Park District Cricket Frog Cove near Cygnet. On Sunday 3/21 my wife and I saw our first of the winter. For several years now a Northern Shrike has wintered at and in the vicinity of the park. We attributed its absence this year up to now to some severe habitat changes on farmland adjacent to the park, but perhaps it was more because of the harsh winter we have experienced. CFC Park is located on the NE corner of Mitchell and Fryman Roads 2 miles west of the I75 Cygnet interchange (exit 171) about 8 miles south of Bowling Green. Delorme 36,3-c
