No time to check in depth, because of appt, but the newer ponds that are on SR 95 just outside New Bloomington have a lot of ducks on them. The ponds at and around the observation deck are near empty, The area that is really an undrained field is holding them at the edges, and the one off of Herr rd is sparse, but the snags may hold something.

Main purpose of this report is to remind everyone that big Island continues all the way to New Bloomington...and actually farther up 95, so don't forget the westernmost ponds as you survey, since they are less pressured, they may hold more.
