Yesterday morning, March 22, there was a Northern shrike at Walter C.
Best Preserve (Rt. 44, just south of the City of Chardon). The adult
bird was found between the back parking lot and the observation
blind. Waterfowl included about a doz. coots, 4 redhead, 12 ring-
necked ducks and mallards.
