A quick check of the pond showed 3 x Cormorants and a small of flock
of something too far out (prob Mallards)

Driving out of the parking lot I stopped to check out a probable
Woodpecker and got the unexpected delight of some  good looks at a
  very plump and brightly colored male Yellow Bellied Sapsucker.
