Hi Everyone,
We were also out to LaDue today 11:00 -1:30.
We saw the loons, eared and pie-billed grebes, bufflehead, ruddies. Common,red- breasted and hooded mergansers.
1 great blue heron, a few hawks and quite a few turkey vultures. Tree and song sparrow. Some ducks too far out to make out what they were.
On the way back home I noticed a duck flying I believe a mallard , it landed on a roof of a house there were 3 others already there. I have never seen ducks do that before. Wish we could of stopped to get pics but too much traffic. I did get to take pics at LaDue though. Very nice birding day although cold, just started to snow on our way home. :-(
