About 3PM I had three Red-shouldered Hawks perched in our yard. I was on the computer and heard some crows fussing outside and making a ruckus. I grabbed some bins and ran outside. Three beautiful Red-shouldered Hawks to my utter amazement! The third one took off before I could get all three in a shot. Two nice adults and a 1st year juvenile. Not a bad day at all considering I was in Chicago at 7:15AM this morning. It was a nice welcome home.
