I live downtown off N. 4th St. There is a vacant area behind my home just north of I-670. A Peregrine flew in and perched on the an electric pole right outside my window. I wanted to run to my car to grab my camera but feared that as soon as I would return the bird would be gone. I watched him for a few minutes fly from pole to pole scouting birds foraging on the ground. He then flew off toward the skyline. It was an awesome sight.
