While volunteering @ Blendon Woods, several other birders and I saw several
phoebes AND peewees @ the east observation shelter @ the lake. Wild turkeys
were seen several times during the day in the refuge area, and there were
several pairs of bluebirds at the nesting boxes just west of the observation
shelters. I also saw a lone female purple finch at the feeders at the Nature
Center. Waterfowl numbers were down.
