The Fish & Wildlife Service is accepting comments on two sets of
guidelines regarding bird mortality and wind turbines. You can read
about plans and pros and cons, read public comments, and make your own
comments by visiting  http://www.fws.gov/windenergy/   .  It's easy to
do, and I recall reading the period for comment ends 19 May.
