Last Saturday our first hummingbird arrived, soon to be joined by several
others. Last night, the first Wood Thrush was heard in the woods. This is
the bnird that started me into birding 20 years ago. We have also had
several Yellow- Throated warblers for several weeks, but I have yet to see
them.

I am looking forward to the Shawnee State Forest trip on 30.
