Join us at the OOS 7th Annual Conference; June 3-5, 2011 at Shawnee State
Park and help put the nesting birds of Ohio on the map! The Ohio
Ornithological Society and the Ohio Breeding Bird Atlas II are teaming up to
present a spectacular weekend of fun, fellowship, and atlasing. Our
conference activities this year will coincide with the final season of data
gathering for the OBBA II. Come to hear great speakers, learn the ins and
outs of atlasing, and enjoy great birding while helping to gather important
data for the atlas. Enjoy birding from a different perspective, observing
breeding activities, nesting and feeding behaviors. Events will include
talks from Paul Rodewald, Director of the OBBA II and Ted Floyd, Editor of
Birding magazine, information on how to atlas in your part of the state,
atlasing field trips, food, and fun!
