The last few days have seen increased chatter and reports of Smith's Longspurs.
Area mailinglists in Indiana, Illinois, and Iowa all have reports in the just
the last few days and reports on eBird show movement. Now is the time to get
out to see these gems. Good luck to all searchers this weekend. Temps promise
to be warmer and upper air currents from the Southwest should aid a reasonable
push Northward this weekend into Monday morning here in Ohio.

General migration should be good. Get out if you can. This system will
probably pull in some cool upper air late Sunday or early Monday. When the back
end of this warm system hits us the cooler air moving in may bring in some
pretty wicked spring t-storms.
