I stopped at Euclid Park around 2:15. There were 41 Brown-headed Cowbirds in with 20 Starlings.

I went to Sims Park from approx 2:40 to 3:35pm. I ran into Roger Bueck (spelling wrong)in the parking lot who stayed only a short time. We went down to the pier and Tom Pienkowski was already looking at the birds with his scope including the Scoters. He had been there longer and seen more birds, approx 15 Bonaparte's, Loons, Horned Grebes, there were Common Goldeneye but I didn't count. I immediately saw what appeared to me were three species of Scoters. I believe I was the lone person who thought that at first. If my ID is wrong from my pictures let me know. Two were obvious, the other seemed harder to figure. Tom got his book and it seemed to make sense. I believe there were:

Black Scoter 1 female
Surf Scoter 1 male
White-winged Scoter 1 female (this bird was not dark, more med brown, had white on top of bill otherwise face dark, top of head did not look like a Surf Scoter more flat, saw white on back sides of bird when it was cleaning itself & diving. Its bill and head just didn't look like Surf the angle wasn't the same.

Also spotted one Caspian Tern flying east.
