3:00 @ Gordon boat launch
44* chilly wind from east
 
the following were either in or flying
over the water of the bay today
RBMs - 30-ish (males really "workin" it for the girls today)
Lesser Scaup - 4
Bufflehaed - 2
Canada Geese - 10
Double Creasted Cormorants - 3
Gulls
     60-ish in/over bay
     Herrings win today - 45+ , mostly swimming today
     RBs - the rest
 
 
3:15 to wast side of ICYC
Dock area
RBMs - 40-ish
Horned Grebe - 1
 
Open Water
White caps @ 75 yards out
Bufflehead - 2
RBMs - 100+
DCCs - 10+
Great Blue Herons - 2 (just above water into strong wind fly-bys)
 
i watched gulls for 10 minutes lookin for anything out of ordinary
NOTHING
no all white wings, black faces or backs today
the only thing of note is that the Herrings out
numbered the Ring-billeds at least 3 : 1
 
arrived @ 3:45 @ Wildwood to check out the bay
west of concession were
25-ish RBMs (males "working")
east of concession were
20+ RGMs
30+ RB Gulls
10+ H Gulls
1 Double Crested Cormorants
(NOTE - a lady was "walking" a fox squirrel across the parking lot!)
 
a Northern Mockingbird was on the east "beach"
