II. BIRDS: 37 SPECIES,1 Exotic/Escape (e).
(NOTE: ?= bird was seen but not sexed; *= bird was heard calling but not sexed)
1. Canada Goose - 11 (1 nest)

2. Wood Duck - 7 (4m,3f)
3. Mallard - 3 (2m,1f)
4. Bald Eagle - 2 (1 adult,1 juvenile - soaring over Bender Barn on eastern ridge)
5. Red-tailed Hawk - 1
6. Killdeer - 1
7. Mourning Dove - 2
8. Red-bellied Woodpecker - 2 (1?,1*)
9. Downy Woodpecker - 2 (1f,1*)
10. Northern Flicker - 2 (*)
11. Blue Jay - 2
12. American Crow - 3
13. Tree Swallow - 24 (one taking nest material to tree hole)
14. Northern Rough-winged Swallow - 22
15. Black-capped Chickadee - 4
