About 50 yrs. ago, parents had pheasants walking through their backyard in
North Olmsted frequently. Now I believe it is a rare sight. This one
showed up on top of a privacy fence about two hours ago. Walked around
the neighborhood. Followed it to neighbors backyard where it was
nervously perched up in some taxus bushes about 5 foot off the ground.
Hope it survives. Do you think the tail has been cut off or is it just a
young bird (book says young have short tail)?

Thanks,

Nancy Brewer
