8:10-ish last night while putting in raised beds for the wildlife to eat my
veggie garden, I first heard then managed to see two Common Nighthawks
circling the `hood (Short North neighborhood of Columbus. Seemed to stick
around for 5-7 minutes before slowly ambling northward. 

Didn't recall seeing them on the listserv yet but may have missed them. I
wasn't expecting them this early but will have to check my notes - it may be
later than I think in the season. I suspect the neighborhood nesting
residents are still a few weeks away.
