Since nobody has reported them, Cliff Swallows have been plentiful in Columbus along the Scioto River and quarries for about a week now and Bank Swallows have been around since then too. Cool, windy, overcast days like today are good for observing a lot of them. Griggs Reservoir above the dam is a good public location where they can be observed from the comfort of your car. There are plenty of Cliff Swallows there now with some Bank Swallows also present in smaller numbers. Of course there is no shortage of Tree, N. Rough-winged and Barn Swallows at Griggs.
