At lunch (12:15-12:45 pm) today, I observed a Ross's Goose in amongst
a group of Canada Geese in the area of Old Hamilton Road and Bixby
Road. The Ross's Goose was feeding on land and I was able to observe
the bird for approximately 30 minutes. Got some nice photos that I
will hopefully post later this evening. I also saw another Ross's
Goose earlier in the morning in the area of Groveport and Rager Road
(South of Groveport Road in the flooded field). Unknown if these
were two separate birds or just one Ross's Goose in the Groveport
Area.
