Early this afternoon there was a common loon in the inner harbor behind the Rock
Hall...earlier this morning at Gordon Park Marina were also loads of mergansers,
common and red-breasted and among them a pair of ring necked ducks.  I'm
guessing the loon to be immature from the incomplete black on the head, though
don't know this for sure.
