Had a great afternoon at the Beaver Pond off of Ira rd. in the CVNP. I got very close looks at at least 10 yellow throated warblers and 10-15 yellow rumped warblers. I saw 2 yellow warblers on the other side of the canal.
The yellow throated warblers were not at all bothered by people and were very cooperative for pictures!

Yesterday I stopped at Brecksville reservation. After being very satisfied by seeing a yellow throated warbler, some kinglets and a few gnat catchers, I heard some cackling toward the bridge, and soon saw a pair of Peregrine falcons fly over my head and into a tree very close to the trail. It was one of the tall Sycamores right on the water near the dam. They didn't move for 45 minutes- I was hoping for a few action shots in-flight, but was very happy just to watch them from so close!
