There was a breeding plumaged Laughing Gull at Buck Creek this evening. It was flying around over the water between the beach and the visitor center. Compared to the nearby Bonaparte’s, it was larger darker mantled, and showed no white on the dark primaries. There were also 7 Caspian and 1 Forster’s Tern on the beach.
