Howdy everyone,

I got out early this morning and was amply awarded. Here are my highlights
from the wooded areas just east of Ohio Wesleyan University, across the
Olentangy River:


Broad-winged Hawk     1, there have been 2 around, last year they nested
here
Least Flycatcher     1, cheBEKking away
Eastern Kingbird     1
White-eyed Vireo     2
Blue-headed Vireo     1

Nashville Warbler     1
Yellow Warbler     4
Yellow-rumped Warbler (Myrtle)     5
Yellow-throated Warbler     1
Pine Warbler     1, singing with some Yellow-rumps far away from any pines
Prairie Warbler     1*- New campus area bird! #208! 1st year male singing in
thick secondary growth along a field
Palm Warbler (Western)     2
Ovenbird     1
Northern Waterthrush     1, pished up near Prairie Warbler, seen well, then
burst into full song
Common Yellowthroat     1

Vesper Sparrow     1
Rose-breasted Grosbeak     1, singing male
