After weeks of waiting and watching their progression(http://www.hummingbirds.net/map.html)from the deep south well past us and up into Ontario. The first of our Hummingbirds arrived today. Our hummingbird feeder is on it's 3rd filling already, and the chickadees will now have to share the "good stuff".
Earlier today a Blue-grey Gnatcatcher flitted around in the bushes, and one of our Catbirds made it's first showing, spending a lot of time at the suet basket.
   Ahh spring !
