I looked out my window right after a rain shower this morning and saw my
first of the year Rose-breasted Grosbeak looking at my empty feeder on South
Bass Island! Purple finch this morning also. Still lots of chipping sparrows
everywhere here. Dale Cook reported an immature Baltimore Oriole and a Catbird
on Catawba Island so the rest can't be far away!
