Some Metro Parks staff were out in the new Darby wetlands this morning,
and found 5 least sandpipers (I don't recall any reports from elsewhere
in the state yet), a greater yellowlegs, 50+ Am. pipits, and the
persistence of at least one bittern; there seems to be habitat for the
latter up north of Kuhlwein Rd, and we all hope the bittern agrees.
Right now looded fields are pretty easy to find in Ohio, and as the rain
moves on this site should attract more birds.
        The least sandpipers, by the way, were the 200th species found in
Franklin County thus far this year.
