This morning I heard and saw my first Eastern Phoebe of the season on South
Bass Island near Perry's Cave. Also saw two yellow bellied sapsuckers, brown
creeper, a lone tree swallow on a wire, and flocks of white-throated
sparrows and dark-eyed juncoes working the ground. Very windy this morning!
