There are now at least 12 Black-crowned Night Herons on the bank across from Merwin / British St 
in the flats.  Here is the full list of what was visible:
Canada Goose     2
Wood Duck     1
Mallard     2
Double-crested Cormorant     7
Great Blue Heron     2
Great Egret     1
Black-crowned Night-Heron     12
Turkey Vulture     2
Bonaparte's Gull     2
Ring-billed Gull     17
Herring Gull     14
Caspian Tern     2
Rock Pigeon     5
Mourning Dove     2
American Crow     1
American Robin     1
Northern Mockingbird     1
European Starling     7
American Tree Sparrow     2
Song Sparrow     3
House Sparrow     27

All without moving more than 20 ft from the car.
