We finally made it up to Gordon Park to see the Eared Grebe. He was near the rocks at Dike 14 hanging with two Horned Grebes. Also had a Lesser Blacked - backed Gull and one Bonaparte's Gull. There were three Great Egrets shivering on the rocks. The weather was downright frigid! It felt more like February instead of April.
Stopped at Sims Park and found many sapsuckers, Hermit Thrushes and a Swamp Sparrow. The lake still had some Common Goldeneye bobbing in the strong waves. There was a very stiff northwest wind.
