Nyc and Viola, the yellow-crowned night-herons, have returned to the
usual Columbus spot and were perched shoulder to shoulder in the
westernmost nest on Preston Rd. The other pair is expected soon. This is
a pretty late date for arrival.
At lunch nearby at Jeffrey Park in Bexley, we had three winter wrens,
seven sapsuckers, and the first Swainson's thrush I've heard about this
spring--a pretty early date.
