Watched a couple of Swainson's thrushes kicking around the place today.
At least one spent most of the day singing, as did an eastern wood
pewee. Rose-breasted grossbeaks continue to grace our feeder together
with the regulars, so much so they really are regulars themselves. We've
had at least one white-crowned sparrow hanging out all week and the
ruby-throated hummingbirds are starting to show up in greater numbers.
No really exciting warblers to report, just the usuals: yellow,
black-throated blue, black-and-white, chestnut-sided, and magnolia.
