I put our hummingbird feeders up Sunday, May 1st & saw our first hummingbird sitting on the feeder this morning!! (West Liberty) So glad to have the little "gems" back!

I've had my hummingbird feeders up for over a month, but today was the first
appearance of a Ruby-throated Hummingbird (female) this year. I was putting
the feeders back out after filling, and she swooped down on the first one I
put up as I walked away from it! Let the fun begin!
Earlier today, I had a first-this-year Rose-breasted Grosbeak (male) appear
at the feeders.
Not bad for a cold day!
