Our place has been graced with two Bared Owls for about two weeks now. They roost on a particular beech branch and are visible from every west window in our house.  They are quite approachable and we can walk fairly near them.  Also had four Red-headed Woodpeckers in the yard yesterday and a first Eastern Kingbird today.
