I managed a few stops around this reservoir this morning, visiting the dam, Twin Lakes preserve, and areas near Home Road bridge. The cold, rainy weather seemed to quell migration, if only for a day. It definitely forced legions of swallows to hover over the reservoir, gleaning bugs from the water. Notables included:

owls - 1 Barred calling at Twin Lakes, a Great Horned being mobbed Frink Park (dam)
swallows - probably 6-800 over the surface of the reservoir, 50% Cliff, 40% Barn, 10% other (mostly Bank & Tree)
flycatchers - hardly any, with a phoebe & 1 Gr.Crested at Twin Lakes
vireos - Red-eyed (TL), Warbling (Home Rd area)
thrushes - wood Thrush (2 - TL), Swainson's (2 - TL)
warblers - Yellow, Parula, Tennessee, Chesnut-sided, Magnolia, Redstart (5), Prothonotary (1 TL)
others - Indigo Bunting, White-thr.Sparrows (2 TL), Orchard Oriole (1 singing Home Rd)
