The shorebird reports from Dave Slager and others inspired me to get
out and check the local marshes. I went out along the shores of Muddy
Creek Bay in Ottawa County and found 20 American White Pelicans and a
lone Whimbrel. There were good numbers of Dunlin (350ish) and
Semipalmated Sandpipers (45 or so) as well. Good birding.
