I saw and heard a yellow-billed cuckoo in the wetlands area just north of
the Jaite parking lot. I walked a short distance north along the railroad
tracks from the road. The bird was sitting in a tree where the tracks split
into two. The train came by and scared the bird back into the woods.

About a half hour later I was walking back south along Riverview Road. I saw
the bird again in the wetlands area just north of the parking lot. I walked
back into the woods near the beaver dam and saw the bird casually fly from
tree to tree a few times.
