I was at Conneaut today from noon till 3:30
 
The outer spit was flooded with over half of it under water
 
I had nine species of shorebirds with the highlight being a single Whimbrel that flew in calling and landing on the spit
The bird ended up moving over to the nearby brakewall before disappearing after an hour or so

1 Bonaparte`s Gull

4 Purple Martin
8 D.c. Cormorant
1 Belted Kingfisher
 
also from Ashtabula Co. at Pymatuning S.P. there was a late drake Canvasback and three Ruddy Ducks
