I came home from work yesterday evening and saw aBlack-throated Blue Warbler in my Lakewood backyard. I've never seen one before and it was a surprise for me. There was also a Yellow Warbler that I've never seen in my yard, as well as several White Crowned sparrows and a White Throated sparrow. The two Warblers were hanging around in a flowering pair tree. Wish the lighting was better, but here are a couple pictures if interested: Black Throated Blue Warbler #1 https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/_biqR5mGZ5_o/Tb9fkk7wQFI/AAAAAAAAfTQ/H2ojta_nb7c/s400/DS7_6472.jpg #2 https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/_biqR5mGZ5_o/Tb9fgph-dBI/AAAAAAAAfTI/9QOYpxLEv1g/s400/DS7_6450.jpg White-Crowned Sparrow https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/_biqR5mGZ5_o/Tb9fXhCWYII/AAAAAAAAfS4/mBFErrtasu4/s400/_D309071.jpg White-Throated Sparrow (right?) https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/_biqR5mGZ5_o/Tb9faPq4deI/AAAAAAAAfS8/hkqO9UAQoBE/s400/_D309097.jpg ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
