Thanks to everyone who responded with SUMMER TANAGER! I think I had a SUMMER
TANAGER at one feeder and a male purple finch at the other. I thought the
SUMMER TANAGER was too large for a finch and it reminded me of a scarlet
tanager but no black wing. I forgot about the summer tanager.

I had 2 individuals at my feeders today. I think both are purple finches,
but WOW, the color is so intense I'm not sure if that's right. Please help
