7:00 - 8:35  64* at start - 68* at end
- winds brisk southwest
 
first impressions were that there were a great 
many groups of Blue Jays flying north - a total of
85+ were counted. the groups were no smaller
than 6 with the largest being 24
 
most interesting bird today was a 
Dark-eyed Junco found out on the
breakwall
 
other observations were that there were
graet numbers of
Red-winged Blackbirds
American Robins
Common Grackles
European Starlings 
    the numbers were all over 50
 
Canada Geese - 20+ (includes goslings)
 
other birds seen were
Cedar Waxwings - 8
Brown Thrasher - 4
American Redstart - 8+
Eastern Wood Peewee - 2
Gray Catbird - 10+
Yellow Warbler - 10+
Chimney Swift 6+
House Wren - 4
Eastern Towhee - 3
Northern Cardinal - 4
Song Sparrow - 6
Cliff Swallow - 8
Great Blue Heron - 4
Eastern Kingbird - 2
Great Egret - 1
Killdeer - 2
Warbling Vireo - 1
Hairy Woodpecker - 2 (@ nest)
White-breasted Nuthatch - 1
Mallard - 2
