Jeremy,

Northern Waterthrush migration is complete and they are now nesting. They
are one of Ohio's rarest nesting species, found with few exceptions only in
the extreme northeast counties. I spent several hours wading through
buttonbush swamp in northern Trumbull county this morning searching for them
with no luck. Consider yourself fortunate if you should locate a pair.

Subject: [Ohio-birds] Waterthrush question

Hello,

Does anyone know when Northern's typically complete their migration and
begin nesting?  And how likely would it be to see a Northern nesting this
far south?

Thanks,
Jeremy
