As of 1:15PM the two Piping Plovers are still present at the previously described location in Lorain. We were here from 11AM to 1:15PM; a great variety of bird species are here. The following are some the other highlights: Caspian Tern, Ruddy Duck (1 male in breeding plumage), Common Moorhen, American Coot (mom with six kids), Hooded Merganser, Lesser Yellowlegs, Dunlin, Least Sandpiper, Semipalmated Plover, Marsh Wren, Spotted Sandpiper, and Barn Swallows galore, just to name a few! Also a couple of baby fawns with their mothers. Bob and Denise Lane
