Finally, some shorebirds at Englewood's Main (East) Metropark. They are
viewable at the south end, east side of pond. The north end is completely
dried out. It is also covered with tall "weeds"--probably hundreds of
upland sandpipers, willets, gallinules, etc. hiding in plain sight! Oh, well,
we can always dream.

Semipalmated sp - 7
Spotted sp - 12
Least sp - 15
Lesser yellowlegs - 5
Killdeer - 30+
Great blue herons - 35+
NOIDs - 15

A good scope is definitely needed. Best viewing time is morning before
the sun passes overhead to the west.

Ed and Bev Neubauer
Englewood, Ohio
