The destination on my 32 mi round trip was the Peak Preserve.
The ride out and back did not produce much, but the walk around the
Preserve was worth it:

Highlights were the Dickcissels as they were singing and displaying all
over the area near the ponds.
Also seen were numerous Cedar Waxwings which were buzzing about near
many parts of the trails on the west side,
and a few singing Savannahs, and one Grasshopper Sparrow.
