All,
I try to teach my children about birds whenever I can. They are 4 and 7 and
ask pretty good questions. They found this feather in the back yard here in
Lorain County. I'm pretty good with bird identification, but I admittedly I
know very little about feathers. I want to encourage their questions, so we
did a bit of research. It looks like this feather has some of the traits and
characteristics of an owl feather. If anyone can give me some thoughts to
share with my curious daughters, I'd really appreciate it. Thank you very
much!
Spencer
