Greetings-

Lorain impoundment held up to 6 juvenile Short-billed Dowitchers, 3
Pectorals, 25 Least, 1 Stilt, and 30 Semipalmated Sandpipers, plus 3
Semipalmated Plovers, 2 Dunlin, and 10 Lesser Yellowlegs. Additional
sightings included a cooperative Sora, Common Moorhens, Ruddy Ducks,
two juvenile Blue-winged Teal, three flyover Great Egrets, and three
immature Green Herons.

Bellevue, on CR 292, while mostly dry save for one pond,
Was excellent, with 130 Pectoral Sandpipers, two Long-billed
Dowitchers, two Short-billed Dows, 2 Stilt Sandpipers, 85 Lesser
Yellowlegs, 120 Least Sandpipers, 25 Semipalmated Sandpipers, 10
Spotted and 4 Solitary Sandpipers, and 100+ Killdeer. While drying up
fast, the site looks to hold for at least the next week or longer and
currently offers great habitat for Buff-breasted Sandpiper.
