This afternoon there was an almost entirely albino Lesser Yellowlegs at
Pickerington Ponds Metro Park in eastern Franklin County. It was seen from
the Ellis Pond viewing area, along the edge of the water. A couple of poor
quality but diagnostic digiscope photos are at the link below.

There is an area of mudflats visible from the viewing shelter at the Ellis
Pond viewing area, but today it had only a Solitary Sandpiper. The area
should be watched for close views of shorebirds in the next few weeks.
