A single adult, great black backed gull was sitting on the sandbar, visible
from the boat house parking lot, on Sunday and Monday. It's large
bulk was conspicuous amidst the ring bills and the one herring gull.

I entered it on eBird and it was filtered out of the arrivals/departures
list, so it must be unusual in this county in August.

Otherwise, I found two solitary sandpipers, saw one osprey, and the flock of Caspian
terns is still present.
